Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the location was fantastic and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were quite small and cold in the evenings. The dining options were limited and overpriced, but the proximity to attractions and public transport was a definite plus.
I stayed at this hostel in a great location near Leidseplein, just 2 minutes walking away. The rooms, although on the small side as I was in the 4th-floor attic with old windows that offered little soundproofing, were small but comfortable and had all we needed. The service was a bit mixed, with some staff being helpful and informative but lacking warmth overall. The dining experience was hit or miss, with packed items and limited options, but there was freshly baked European bread. The hostel's proximity to Vondelpark and two trams that go everywhere was a bonus, although it was adjacent to a noisy area with a lot of activity.
The hotel is in a lovely area, close to Vondelpark and a short walk to Leidseplein. The rooms, although small for a non-smoking hotel, were nicely modern and kept clean throughout my stay. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to assist with taxis and local information. Dining options were somewhat limited, but the nearby restaurants made up for it. A beautiful location for a comfortable stay.
The hotel room I stayed in was quite expensive for what I got, and it did look a bit tired. There were no towel rails, and the shower drained slowly. The room was very small, basically just a double bed with a small robe and minimal walking space around the bed. However, it was clean, and I enjoyed a nice view from the room.
The hotel offers great rooms but at a higher price point. It was a bit challenging as the rooms were on separate floors from our children, with the choice between security and fresh air due to a unique courtyard door-window setup. The service was good overall, with some minor inconveniences. The location is excellent for visiting main attractions on foot, with easy access to transportation. The dining options were decent, but could use more variety.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were decently sized with a good bathroom, though there was a slight odor that improved after the fan was fixed. The service was thorough and attentive, despite some minor drawbacks. The location was superb, right across from Vondelpark, making it easy to explore the city. The dining options were nice but slightly limited. Overall, it was a good value for the money.
